Alchemy for Archlinux :)

If possible built from source and a binary install via AUR.

Not a bad idea. However, Arch Linux is a very unstable platform for building SL Viewers. Things break all the time, most often than not due to upstream bugs.

I'm in favor of this, with the caveat that up to date builds are not garanteed.

Alchemy-Next build is working on archlinux for me. Thank you @rye ! Will looking forward to a release now!

Got the archlinux build from @Tommy - works fine.

Hopefully something popping up in AUR soon :)

For the sake of completion: Alchemy is now available under alchemy-viewer and alchemy-next-viewer as source builds. Binary snapshots are being considered and investigated.

Actively maintained options for installing Alchemy on Arch via the AUR exist. Both binary and source options are available. Closing request.
