Orthographic rendering
Summary
When working on complex meshes that need careful alignment, a orthographic rendering mode would be very helpful to manually adjust content.
How would you like the feature to work?
A menu option that would popup a orthographic dialog.
It would make sense to have this in a dialog with the option to enable/disable orthographic, lighting options, distance/farclip (going as low as 32meters), orthographic angles, forcing different mesh LoD levels in scene. Orthographic view could be quite cumbersome to work with otherwise.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Content creators, particularly those that work with 3d editing software would appreciate the additional precision granted through this rendering method and helps achieve better understanding of what is happening to mesh when it has been uploaded to Second life.
